Azerbaijan sees 18% decline in troubled loans in 2022

As of January 1, 2023, the overdue loans in Azerbaijan stood at 593.7 million manats ($349.24 million), down 7.4% from the previous month.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure is 17.5% less than a year earlier.
In the reporting period, the share of troubled loans in the total loan portfolio was 2.9%, while this figure was 3.2% last month, 4.2% in late 2022.
