Azerbaijan’s surplus in BoP exceeds $6B

In the first half of this year, a surplus in Azerbaijan’s Balance of Payment (BoP) amounted to $ 6,402 million (-15.8%), Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The surplus was formed by a surplus of $6,673.9 million (-2.7 times) in the current account, a gap of $8.4 million in the capital account (a surplus one year ago), a surplus of $398.7 million in the financial account (a gap 1 year ago) and a deficit of $662.2 million in net errors and omissions (+29.6%).
