Azerbaijan’s surplus in BoP declines by 43%

The surplus in Azerbaijan’s Balance of Payment (BoP) in 2023 amounted to $ 5,356.4 million, down 42.9% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The surplus was formed by a surplus of $8,329.4 million (-2.8 times) in the current account, a gap of $9.6 million in the capital account, a surplus of $4,284 million in the financial account (-2.9 times), and a surplus of $1,320.6 million in net errors and omissions.
