Azerbaijan's State Social Protection Fund spending nears AZN 5.5 billion

In January–August 2026, the revenues of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) of Azerbaijan, under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, totaled 5.712 billion manats (just under $3.36 billion).

According to Report, citing the fund, this is 5%, or 264 million manats (approximately $155.3 million) higher than forecast.

Mandatory state social insurance contributions within the SSPF"s revenues increased by 6%, or 265 million manats (approximately $155.9 million) compared to the forecast, reaching 4.559 billion manats (just over $2.68 billion).

During the first 8 months of this year, SSPF expenditures amounted to 5.494 billion manats (just over $3.23 billion), marking an increase of 10% or 490 million manats (just over $288.2 million) year-on-year.
