Azerbaijan's representative in World Bank changed

A new adviser of the World Bank Executive Director on Azerbaijan has been appointed.

Amin Muradov has replaced Namig Nagdaliyev in this position.

Namig Nagdaliyev resigned from the World Bank in October last year and was appointed director of the office of the chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Amin Muradov has also been the representative of Azerbaijan in the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) since 2019.

Azerbaijan has been a member of the World Bank since 1992. Over the past 30 years, the financial institution has allocated more than $4 billion in loans for more than 50 projects implemented by Azerbaijan.
