Azerbaijan's public catering turnover rises by 24%

In the first half of 2023, the public catering turnover in Azerbaijan increased by 23.5% in real terms compared to last year and amounted to 988.8 million manats ($581.6 million).

Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that 50.5% of public catering turnover in the private sector belongs to legal entities and 49.5% to natural persons engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this field.

The turnover of legal entities increased by 21.7% compared to last year and amounted to 736.1 million manats ($270.59 million).
