Azerbaijan’s life insurance market grows by 21%

In January-August 2021, the premiums on life insurance stood at AZN 260.931 million, up 21% from the previous year, Report informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
In the eight months of 2021, the payments made up AZN 192.775 million, up 17.8% from a year earlier.
During the reporting period, AZN 73.9 payment was made for each AZN 100 insurance fee collected in the life insurance market. This figure was AZN 75.9 in the same period last year.
