Azerbaijan's insurance market sees 4% growth

From January through March 2022, 20 insurance companies of Azerbaijan collected 258.425 million manats of insurance premiums, 3.8% more than in the first three months of 2021, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The amount of payments made by insurance companies during the reporting period amounted to 61.228 million manats, 2.4-fold less than a year ago.
According to the bank, 23.7 manats were paid for every 100 manats collected in the insurance market in January-March 2022. In the same period last year, this figure was 58.4 manats.
