Azerbaijan's insurance market sees 11% growth

From January through February 2022, 20 insurance companies of Azerbaijan collected 178.307 million manats of insurance premiums, 11.1% more than in the first two months of 2021, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The amount of payments made by insurance companies during the reporting period amounted to 38.936 million manats, 2.6 times less than a year ago.
According to the bank, 21.8 manats were paid for every 100 manats collected in the insurance market in January-February 2022. In the same period last year, this figure was 62.4 manats.
