Azerbaijan’s insurance market grows by 27%

Insurance premiums in the amount of 1,108.234 million manats were collected through 20 insurance companies of Azerbaijan in January-November 2023.

Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that this is 26.6% more than in the same period last year.

The amount of payments made by insurance companies during the reporting period made 497.466 million manats, up 24.1% from a year ago.

Payments for every 100 manats of insurance premiums amounted to 44.9 manats. For the same period last year, this figure was equal to 45.8 manats.
