Azerbaijan's insurance market grows 9%

In January-April of this year, 20 insurance companies of Azerbaijan collected over AZN 339.107 million in premiums, up 8.9% from the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The payments made by insurance companies during the reporting period amounted to AZN 179.789 million, which is 70.3% more than a year earlier.
Over the past 4 months, AZN 53 of insurance payments accounted for AZN 100 of insurance premiums, while this figure was AZN 33.9 in January-April 2020.
