Azerbaijan's insurance market grows 3%

In the first quarter of 2021, 20 insurance companies of Azerbaijan collected over AZN 248.989 million in premiums, up 3.4% from the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The payments made by insurance companies during the reporting period amounted to AZN 145.345 million, which is 88.5% more than a year earlier.
Over the past 3 months, 58.4 AZN of insurance payments accounted for per 100 AZN insurance premiums, while this figure was AZN 32 in January-March 2020.
