Azerbaijan’s insurance market grows 10%

In January-August this year, insurance premiums for 580.597 million manats were collected from 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Compared to the same period last year, this is 9.8 percent increase.
The payments by insurance companies for the reporting period amounted to 339.866 million manats. This is 29.2 percent more than a year earlier.
For the reporting period, 58.5 manats were paid for every 100 manats of insurance premiums. For the same period last year, this figure was 49.7 manats.
