Azerbaijan's external public debt down 7.5%

As of August 1, 2026, Azerbaijan's external public debt amounted to $4.590 billion, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this is 7.5% less than on August 1, 2025.
In July alone, the country's external public debt decreased by $26 million.
Last year, Azerbaijan's external public debt fell by 6.7% to $4.813 billion, or 8.183 billion manat.
