Azerbaijan's central bank receives appeals for licences from over 20 organizations

More than 20 payment and electronic money organizations have applied for a license to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) to date, Rashad Orujov, the First Deputy Chairman of the CBA, said at the FinTech Summit held in Baku, Report informs.
According to him, the CBA considers relevant applications and provides necessary legal support within the framework of active communication with organizations.
Orujov noted that it is planned to start issuing licenses to organizations that meet all legislative requirements by the end of this month.
