Azerbaijan reviews 2027 state budget and economic forecasts

A meeting chaired by Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov today discussed the current economic situation, updated macroeconomic forecasts for 2026–2030, draft forecasts for the 2027 state and consolidated budgets, and consolidated budget indicators for the following three years.
According to Report, citing the Cabinet of Ministers, the agenda also included the main goals and targets of budget policy for 2027–2030, the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework, the current situation and policy directions in the financial and banking sector, and other issues.
The meeting heard reports from Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, Finance Minister Sahil Babayev and Central Bank of Azerbaijan Chairman Taleh Kazimov.
Members of the Economic Council and other officials invited to the meeting discussed the issues on the agenda.
Following the meeting, relevant institutions were instructed to submit all documents and information included in the 2027 budget package to the Cabinet of Ministers, taking into account the opinions and proposals of Economic Council members.
