Azerbaijan reduces net financial assets by $10M in 2023

In January-June 2023, Azerbaijan lowered net financial assets by $10 million, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
In the same period of 2022, net financial assets increased by $3,376.3 million.
According to the information, the decrease was caused by the fall of $102.5 million in net foreign direct investment (a growth of $62.8 million in the same period of 2022), a rise of $500.6 million in portfolio investment (an increse of $280.5 million), and a decline of $ 408.1 million in other investments (a growth of $3,033 million).
