Azerbaijan posts 29% decline in troubled loans

As of August 1, 2022, the overdue loans in Azerbaijan stood at 662.3 million manats, up 0.2% from the previous month.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure is 7.9% less than early 2022 and 29.35% - a year earlier.
In the reporting period, the share of troubled loans in the total loan portfolio was 3.5%, while this figure was 4.2% on late 2021 and 6.1% as of August 1, 2021.
