Azerbaijan posts 23% growth in currency reserves over past year

As of October 1, 2023, Azerbaijan’s currency reserves stood at $65,299.3 million, Report informs.
Of this, 85%, or $55.524 billion, fell to the share of SOFAZ, while 15%, or $9,775.3 million, - to the share of Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
In the third quarter of 2023, the currency reserves increased by $1,188.3 million, or 1.9% ($608.9 million, or 1.1%, in SOFAZ’s reserves, $579.4 million, or 6.3% in CBA’s reserves).
Over the past year, the currency stocks surged $12,245.6 million, or 23.1% ($10,137.6 million, or 22.3%, in SOFAZ, $2.108 billion, or 27.5%, in CBA).
