Azerbaijan posts 14% growth in budget surplus

In January-February 2023, Azerbaijan’s budget revenues stood at 5,877.6 million manats ($3.46 billion) and expenditures at 3,660.4 million manats ($2.15 billion), respectively, up 27.1% and 36.3% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Consequently, the surplus amounted to 2,217.2 million manats ($1.3 billion), 14.2% more than the previous year.
