Azerbaijan, IMF mull tax reforms

Azerbaijan and the International Monetary Fund have held discussions on tax reforms, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said in a post on X, according to Report.
"Partnership with international financial institutions plays a vital role in supporting a sustainable economic development model in our country. During our meeting with Anna Bordon, Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission to Azerbaijan, we noted with satisfaction the ongoing development of cooperation with the Fund. We discussed the priorities of our mutual engagement, Azerbaijan’s macroeconomic indicators and forecasts, as well as efforts toward economic diversification and tax reform," the post reads.
