Azerbaijan to launch special portal for capital market

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) is working on a special platform - portal for more flexible financing of companies from the capital market, Samir Ismayilov, Deputy Director of Capital Markets Policy and Supervision Department of CBA, said.

"The portal is expected to be launched by the end of this month at the latest. Companies wishing to be financed through securities can apply electronically to CBA, Baku Stock Exchange CJSC, and the National Depository Center and ensure the registration of securities, admission to storage in the depository system, and access to stock exchange listing on the basis of the 'single window' principle," he noted.
