Azerbaijan Central Bank, IMF discuss inflation forecasts

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the International Monetary Fund discussed inflation forecasts, Report informs, citing the Central Bank.

Central Bank Executive Director Vugar Ahmadov met with an IMF delegation led by Anna Bordon, the fund's mission chief for Azerbaijan, during the delegation's visit to the country.

The meeting focused on the impact of developments in the global economy and financial markets on Azerbaijan's economy, macroeconomic and financial stability, as well as economic growth trends and inflation forecasts.

The sides also exchanged views on initiatives to improve the transmission of monetary policy and develop the interbank market, as well as key priorities for monetary policy and financial stability policy this year and in the medium term.
