Azerbaijan and Alipay discuss promoting digital payments

Azerbaijan and Ant International (Alipay) have discussed ways to promote digital payments.

Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that a delegation led by the First Deputy Chairman of the CBA, Aliyar Mammadyarov, during a business visit to Georgia, met with representatives of Ant International, headed by Chief Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer Leiming Chen.

The meeting covered initiatives being implemented to develop financial technologies and promote digital payments in Azerbaijan, as well as other matters of mutual interest.
