Accounts Chamber reveals overspending

In the first half of 2023, the Accounts Chamber revealed overspending of 69.5 million manats ($40.88 million), the Chamber’s Chairman Vugar Gulmammadov told Report
According to him, the board of the Chamber headed by him decided to restore 22.9 million manats ($13.47 million) of these funds to the state budget.
“In addition, information was provided to law enforcement agencies about 23 million manats ($13.5 million), which are allegedly related to criminal acts,” said Gulmammadov.
