EXPO-2020 postponed to next year

General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in Paris has ratified to postpone EXPO-2020 Dubai to next year. The event will run from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, Report says, citing TASS.
Separately, The Big 5 construction exhibition in Dubai and scheduled for 23-26 November this year, has been postponed to 12-15 September 2021.
Expo 2020 was scheduled to run for six months, between October 20, 2020, and April 10, 2021, and expected to welcome 25 million people, with 70% of visitors projected to come from outside the UAE.
