UAE official: Azerbaijan's energy policy is very attractive

Azerbaijan's energy policy is mainly in the direction of green energy, and it is very attractive, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohammed Al Mazroui, Report informs.

He voiced his country's readiness to support this policy of the Azerbaijani leadership.

According to the UAE official, the policy of saving natural gas is perfect and the saved gas can be used for other purposes.

He noted that the Emirates also eye increasing the share of electricity from renewable energy sources in their country to 30% or even 45%.

The official noted that his country will try to provide about 20% of energy production through domestic resources, creating significant opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
