STAR Refinery's petroleum coke production in Türkiye up by nearly 9% in January

In January 2025, the STAR Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 71,566 tons of petroleum coke, 5,804 tons or 8.8% more than in January 2024, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
Overall, in January, nearly 151,754 tons of petroleum coke were produced by oil refineries in Türkiye, which is 25,126 tons or 19.8% more than in the first month of 2024.
