STAR Refinery reduces aviation fuel production by over 4%

The STAR refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 132,313 tons of kerosene (aviation fuel) for jet engines in July 2024, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
EMRA’s data shows that this is a decrease of 5,919 tons or 4.3% compared to the same month in 2023.
Overall, Türkiye’s oil refineries produced more than 620,238 tons of kerosene for jet engines in July 2024, representing an increase of 58,009 tons, or 10.32% year-on-year.
