STAR Refinery increases jet fuel production by about 75%

In October of this year, the STAR refinery (NEZ), an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 128,621 tons (+55,023 tons, or 74.8%) of kerosene (aviation fuel) for jet engines, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

In total, 519,192 tons of kerosene for jet engines were produced from oil refineries in Türkiye in October of this year, 131,121 tons, or 33.8%, more than in October 2022.
