STAR refinery discloses aviation fuel output in October 2024

In October 2024, the STAR oil refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced over 20,221 tons of aviation fuel (kerosene fuel for jet engines), Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
Compared to the same month last year, the production sharply dropped by 6.3 times or 108,400 tons.
In total, oil refineries in Türkiye produced more than 483,819 tons of aviation fuel in October, which is 35,373 tons or 6.8% less year-on-year.
STAR was inaugurated on October 19, 2018. The plant began operating at full capacity in September 2019. The plant has an annual crude oil processing capacity of 13 million tons.
