STAR Refinery decreases jet fuel production by 24%

In February 2024, the STAR refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 75,899 tons of kerosene (aviation fuel) for jet engines, down 24,522 tons, or 24.4%, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

In total, 451,492 tons of kerosene for jet engines were produced from oil refineries in Türkiye in February of this year, 72,088 tons, or 18.8%, more than in February 2023.
