STAR Oil Refinery discloses petroleum coke output in October

In October 2024, the STAR Oil Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced nearly 4,479 tons of petroleum coke, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, the production dropped by 70,992 or 16.8 times.
In total, oil refineries in Türkiye produced 84,656 tons of petroleum coke in October 2024, which is 75,606 tons or 1.9 times less year-on-year.
STAR was inaugurated on October 19, 2018. The plant began operating at full capacity in September 2019. It has an annual crude oil processing capacity of 13 million tons.
