SOCAR VP commends Azerbaijani gas supply to Syria

Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Elshad Nasirov has commented on the start of Azerbaijan's gas exports to Syria via Türkiye.

Nasirov told Report in Türkiye's Kilis that this event is of great importance both in terms of diversification of gas supply and from political and economic perspectives.

"This is a new direction for the supply of Azerbaijani gas. This project is important not only economically, but also politically and in terms of transportation," Nasirov emphasized.
