Sales of RON-95 branded fuel have not been suspended at SOCAR-branded filling stations, SOCAR Petroleum CJSC told Report.
Addressing recent news about the suspension of RON-95 premium gasoline sales at many filling stations in Baku in recent days, the company clarified that due to high demand in recent days, fuel reserves have temporarily run out at some stations.
“However, starting today, the sale of RON-95 branded fuel has been fully restored at all filling stations, and drivers can refuel without interruption,” the statement said.
SOCAR Petroleum CJSC, established in 2008, is responsible for the purchase and sale of oil and gas products under the SOCAR brand in Azerbaijan. The company also provides high-quality supply services in line with international standards.
The first three SOCAR filling stations were launched on May 7, 2010. Today, the company operates 69 stations nationwide, along with one Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) terminal and 13 oil terminal bases—11 located in the regions and 2 in Baku.
