SOCAR Polymer increases export revenues over 58%

In January-September 2023, SOCAR Polymer LLC exported products worth $231.6 million, according to the October issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications, Report informs.

This is $85.3 million or 58.3% more than in nine months of 2022.

Azerbaijan's total exports during the reporting period amounted to $26.5 billion, and non-oil sector exports amounted to $2.4 billion, an increase of 10.6% compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

SOCAR Polymer has a polypropylene plant with an annual production capacity of 184,000 tons. The opening of the plant took place on June 18, 2018 with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and President of Italy Sergio Mattarella. On October 5 of the same year, polypropylene exports began.
