SOCAR attends Int'l Energy Week 2025 conference in London

Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Afgan Isayev took part in the conference "International Energy Week 2025", which was held in London on February 25-27, Report informs via SOCAR.

The event with the participation of over 1,500 representatives from more than 50 countries discussed issues of global energy demand, energy transition and reduction of carbon emissions.

Isayev presented to the participants detailed information about SOCAR's strategy for decarbonization and energy transition, spoke about the company's goal to achieve zero emissions by 2050 and the projects being implemented in this direction.

The vice president also noted that SOCAR cooperates with prestigious international initiatives and organizations such as MGP, IOGP, OGCI, OGMP 2.0, and is also one of the co-founders of the OGDC Charter and is represented in its Steering Committee, which is an indicator of SOCAR's contribution to environmental protection and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
