SOCAR and TPAO to cooperate in one more area

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Turkiye Petrolleri (TPAO) have reached an agreement on cooperation in a new field, Fatih Donmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkiye, who is on a visit to Baku, told journalists.
"There have been joint projects implemented between SOCAR and TPAO for years, especially in some fields in the Caspian region. In recent weeks, meetings related to another field were also ongoing. A cooperation agreement was reached in this regard," the Turkish minister added.
Donmez said that information related to this new field will be presented to both parties and this information will be assessed: "If the results are positive, TPAO will play an active role in that field as well."
