SOCAR and ACWA Power discuss cooperation on green hydrogen production

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power have discussed opportunities for cooperation in green hydrogen production, decarbonization, and sustainable energy solutions.

Report informs, citing SOCAR, that a meeting took place between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and ACWA Power’s CEO Marco Arcelli.

During the meeting, the successful development of mutually beneficial cooperation was emphasized.

It was also highlighted that joint projects under this collaboration would make a significant contribution to the development of renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan.
