Rovnag Abdullayev: "We will continue to contribute to Azerbaijani-Turkish energy brotherhood"

"The historic Shusha Declaration, signed this year, opens wide horizons between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and we have a lot to do together," SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev told the 1st Azerbaijani-Turkish Energy Forum in Baku, Report informs.

"We will continue to contribute to the further development of the Azerbaijani-Turkish energy brotherhood, supported by the presidents of the two countries. SOCAR owns Petkim Holding in Aliaga, Izmir, Turkey, where it has built a STAR refinery and commissioned a terminal. Thus, the company has become the largest investor in the Turkish energy sector," he said.
