Production starts at northeastern flank of Shah Deniz field

As part of the Shah Deniz 2 project, production began from the northeastern flank of the field, Report informs referring to bp.

The planned event was held in complete safety.

Prior to this, all associated construction work and operational testing on the northeastern flank were successfully completed and the system was put into operation.

The capacity of existing installations at the field is about 79 million standard cubic meters per day (about 29 billion per year).
