Portugal's oil purchases from Azerbaijan down by over 3 times

In January-September 2023, Azerbaijan exported 230,528.23 tons of crude oil to Portugal for $147.734 million, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

In the first nine months of 2023, compared to the same period last year, the amount of products exported from Azerbaijan to Portugal and their their value decreased by 3.2 times and 3.7 times, respectively.

The share of crude oil exported from Azerbaijan to Portugal in the total oil export was 1.16%.

In January-September 2023, according to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 19.876 million tons of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous rocks for $12.128 billion.

In January-September of this year, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $39.103 billion. Exports accounted for $26.489 billion of the 9-month foreign trade turnover, and imports accounted for $12.614 billion.
