Parviz Shahbazov: Azerbaijan-Türkiye tandem is of strategic importance for effective use of Nakhchivan's potential

The Azerbaijan-Türkiye tandem is also of strategic importance for the effective use of the energy resources, communication and logistics potential of Nakhchivan in new realities where the opening of the Zangazur Corridor, the development of the Middle Corridor and the creation of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Europe electric corridor are possible, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said at the 3rd Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum held today in Nakhchivan, Report informs.

“Recently, the participation of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Igdir-Nakhchivan gas pipeline, which will supply 500 million cubic meters of gas annually, as well as the signing of the cooperation document in the transmission of electricity produced from renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan and Türkiye, once again showed that our countries are determined to jointly implement a new strategic course, and their political will is decisive in this process,” the minister noted.
