Official: Azerbaijan among countries with world's highest gasification level

Azerbaijan is one of the countries with the highest gasification level in the world, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Alakbarov stated at today's meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis, Report informs.

"Currently, the gasification level in the country is 96.5%. The areas with the weakest gasification are mostly remote, mountainous villages, and work is being done to eliminate this," Alakbarov noted.

According to the deputy minister, Azerbaijan is entering the next year in very good macroeconomic conditions.

"Questions that arise are answered in a timely manner. As always, these questions are aimed at improving the welfare of our people and are related to certain proposals," he added.
