Natural gas price drops in Europe

The gas price in Europe at the opening of trading amounted to $1,203 per 1,000 cubic meters, or 103 euros per MWh, which corresponds to the closing level.
Report informs that at the moment the cost of the January futures contract on the TTF hub in the Netherlands is 98.2 euros, which is 7.8% less than the estimated price.
Since December 21, gas supplies through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline have been suspended, and it is operating in reverse mode. Against the background of a decrease in pumping, the price of gas in Europe reached a record $2,150.
