Minister: Introduction of renewable energy sources to allow Azerbaijan export more natural gas

Natural gas is a very important energy resource and it plays a special role in the transition to alternative energy, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said within the VIII Global Baku Forum, Report informs.

“In general, international experts adhere to the unanimous position that natural gas and renewable energy sources will play a decisive role during the energy transition. Therefore, we intend to make the most of these two energy resources. At the same time, the more energy we get from renewable energy sources, the more opportunities we will have for exporting natural gas,” he said.
