Mikayil Jabbarov engages in talks with BP regarding Azerbaijan’s shift towards sustainable energy sources

Potential projects of BP in Azerbaijan and the transition to sustainable energy sources resulting from global climate challenges were discussed, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on his X social media account, Report informs.

“During our meeting with Gordon Birrell, the Executive Vice-President of Production and Operations for BP, my colleagues and I discussed BP's current operations in Azerbaijan, explored potential future projects, and examined strategies for transitioning to sustainable energy sources in light of global climate challenges,” Jabbarov said.
