Kazakhstan to ship batch of oil from Kashagan field through Azerbaijan

Kazakhstan's KazTransOil JSC will ship 7,000 tons of oil from the Kashagan field in transit through Azerbaijan this month.
Report informs via KazTransOil that a batch of oil will be shipped from the port of Aktau in a test mode, which will be exported to the port of Baku.
The shipper of Kashagan oil is INPEX North Caspian Sea. The Japanese company owns shares in the development of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli in Azerbaijan and the BTC export oil pipeline.
KazTransOil JSC is the national operator of the main oil pipeline. It is part of the KazMunayGas group.
