Kazakhstan increases oil production

Kazakhstan’s oil production during January-April 2020 made up 26.96 million tonnes, up 6.4% from the previous year, Report informs, citing Kazakh media.
Of this, 66.2% was produced in Artirau province, 21.8% in Mangistau.
In the first quarter of 2020, the country exported 18.3 million tonnes of oil and oil products worth $8.8 billion. Kazakh oil was mostly imported by Italy (5.1 million tonnes), the Netherlands (2 million tonnes) and India (1.54 million tonnes).
At the same time, Kazakhstan is to cut the output by 390,000 barrels within the OPEC+ deal.
