Hikmat Hajiyev: Azerbaijan trying to connect several seas with single route

Azerbaijan, as part of its energy concept, is trying to connect several seas with a single route, Assistant to the President - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said at a panel discussion within the XII Global Baku Forum, Report informs.

He noted that this refers to the Caspian, Black, Mediterranean, and Adriatic seas.

"Azerbaijan and the Balkan countries are separated by a great distance. However, we are trying to establish close ties," he added.
